Many Individuals Raising Awareness Clearing Landmines Everywhere

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

Mission Statement:

MIRACLE is an international fundraising and civic responsibility project being conducted by the Pre-AP World Geography students at Apollo Junior High School in Richardson, Texas.
The purpose of the project is to raise awareness through education, and raise money to help in the detection and elimination of deadly landmines that plague millions of people in over 60 countries.
The most effective way of detection landmines is through the use of specially trained landmine detection dogs.  It is the ultimate goal of the MIRACLE project to raise enough money to fund the training and deployment of a landmine detection canine so that we can help save lives and restore security and stability to those who live with the daily threats and hazards of landmines.

Our Goals

  • Raise $20,000 in 10 weeks; after reaching this goal, the MIRACLE project will make a donation to the Marshall Legacy Institute and the Global Training Academy so that a landmine detection canine can be trained and deployed to an area of the world in need.
  • A donation will be made to the Adopt-A-Minefield program if donations are than the amount needed to adopt a canine OR for any amount donated above the amount needed to adopt a canine.
